The "Must-Attend" Marketing Event for the Mid-Atlantic Region
All content in this post has been attributed to Capital Communicator and Potomac Tech Wire, the producers of the Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit
With all of the changes taking place in digital marketing today, it’s more important than ever to stay up to speed with the latest industry trends. That’s why this Friday I’ll be taking the opportunity to attend the Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit (MAMS), the “must-attend” marketing event for our region.
The MAMS brings together 300+ CMOs, senior marketers, agency professionals and technology executives from all over the Mid-Atlantic area to talk about best practices, share case studies, and network with others in the industry. The event features dozens of keynotes and presentations on the most important issues facing marketers over the next few years.
I’m personally looking forward to the Inbound Marketing 2.0 session presented by Lynne Kingsley of Ironmark. So much has changed with inbound marketing over the past few years. And while there’s no doubt that high- quality, engaging content mapped to the right buyer personas is still key to inbound marketing, her session will cover what’s new in this space. She’ll also discuss ways to leverage new tactics that build meaningful relationships and achieve new found growth for your business.
The MAMS will also feature a CMO roundtable, bringing together three top CMOs to discuss their outlook for the future of marketing. The panel will set the stage for the summit by focusing on topics that will be analyzed throughout the day in breakout sessions. Some things they will cover include trends to closely watch in 2019, strategies they are most excited about, and technologies we should be paying the most attention to right now.
Other featured sessions at MAMS will include presentations and discussions about the latest trends in social media, SEO, marketing automation, and artificial intelligence. Three of the region’s leading social media directors will provide insights about their outlook for 2019 and beyond and share how their social strategy has changed over the last year. Some of the topics covered will include: how to increase engagement with followers, how to launch an influencer marketing strategy, and how authenticity can build value for your brand.
This closing session of the summit will explore where marketing is going in the next 10 to 20 years. Topics will include artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and more. As the panel brings together leading marketing technologists and futurists, they will explore the biggest trends that will define and change marketing in the future.
Hope to see you there!
